Power Pack EN 9 Sine
EN 9 Sine Discharging Power Pack
The EN 9 Sine power pack supplies energy to HAUG ionizing units while providing advanced functional monitoring for enhanced safety and efficiency. It detects short circuits, spark formation, and thermal overload, ensuring reliable operation. The unit also features pulsed operation and delivers a monitoring signal for real-time system control.
Key Features & Functionality:
- High Voltage Supply: Delivers 7–8 kV AC to ionizing units with a maximum connected length of 18 meters (including HV cable).
- Continuous Monitoring: The K1 signaling socket provides a linear monitoring signal (e.g., 7 VDC at 7 kV AC) for reporting and control purposes.
- Pulsed Operation: Allows remote activation and deactivation of the ionization process via a control desk or machine control unit, optimizing energy usage.
- Automatic Shutdown: Detects faults such as short circuits, insulation failures, or thermal overload and shuts off output high voltage to prevent damage. A signaling lamp indicates faults, and the monitoring signal drops to 0 V in case of an issue.
- Robust Design: Built to IP 54 protection standards for durability in industrial environments.
Specifications:
- 4 HV outputs for up to 18 m total connected length
- Permanent function monitoring
